IrisVR are the makers of immersive 3D software for architecture, engineering & construction. Clients use IrisVR software for a wide cross section of the built environment, including skyscrapers, airports, oil rigs, distribution centers, yachts and sports stadiums. With Prospect, clients can upload and review their own 3D models true to scale and collaborate with remote colleagues, with or without access to a virtual reality headset.
Role: Senior Software Engineer
Contributions: Lead developer on immersive interaction and user interfaces. Worked with the design team to rebuild the UI from the ground up, focusing on modular elements that empower designers to iterate on the interface without coding. Brought the desktop UI to full feature parity with VR. Built new features for visibility settings and issue tracking. Advised on data models and API integration.

Geometry elements retain their building information metadata from the source CAD suite.
